The MediClub laboratory has been operating since 1998, since the opening of the first MediClub institution - the MediClub Polyclinic. Today, each branch of MediClub has its own laboratory.

MediClub Polyclinic and MediClub Hospital provide round-the-clock collection, registration and examination of biological material. Working hours of MediClub KIDS and MediClub Ganja: from 8:00 to 20:00. In addition, a laboratory team visit service is available for sampling.

The MediClub Laboratory is a modern multidisciplinary diagnostic center providing a wide range of laboratory services. We perform more than 2,000 types of laboratory tests, including clinical, allergological, immunological, biochemical, hemostasis, bacteriological, toxicological, and genetic examinations.

Together with its branches, the laboratory serves more than 100,000 patients annually and performs over 500,000 laboratory tests each year. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our lab has performed over 500,000 COVID tests.

The MediClub Clinic laboratory is the first laboratory in the country to have been operating under the RIQAS program since 2015. For more than 10 years, we have successfully passed monthly quality control assessments across dozens of RIQAS programs. We hold certificates confirming successful participation in all relevant programs.

In November 2004, MediClub laboratory has been externally audited and accredited by LabCred (UK).

Since 2019, the MediClub laboratory has also been working in parallel with the Bio-Rad EQAS® external quality assessment program (USA).

Our laboratory undergoes annual audits in accordance with international quality and safety standards ISO 9001 and ISO 45001. All MediClub laboratory specialists are certified professionals with extensive practical experience.

In addition, we provide bacteriological testing of water and food products, as well as chemical water analysis in accordance with international standards throughout Azerbaijan. MediClub Laboratory is also the only laboratory in the country performing water testing for Legionella bacteria.

■ Microbiological testing — more than 700 bacteriological examinations are performed monthly. Minimum inhibitory concentrations (MIC) of antibiotics are determined individually for patients when required.

■ Genetic testing — including diagnostics for rare hereditary diseases and prenatal genetic testing.

■ PCR diagnostics — detection of viruses and bacteria, including newly emerging viral strains, using advanced molecular diagnostic methods.

■ International laboratory referrals — upon patient request, samples may be sent abroad for specialized testing (Turkey, USA, and other countries).
