Education

Dr. Bakhtiyar Zeynalov graduated from the Faculty of Pediatrics of Azerbaijan Medical University in 1995, after which he completed an internship at the Scientific Research Institute of Pediatrics. From 1997 to 1999, he completed a clinical residency in anesthesiology and intensive care at the St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical Academy, Russia. Between 1999 and 2001, he pursued postgraduate studies and defended his Candidate of Medical Sciences (PhD) thesis in 2001. In 2005, he was awarded the highest qualification category in anesthesiology and intensive care. In 2011, he obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in medicine in Japan.

Experience

Dr. Bakhtiyar Zeynalov worked in neonatal intensive care units (NICU) of children's hospitals in St. Petersburg from 1998 to 2006, and also served as a faculty member at the Pediatric Academy. From 2005 to 2011, he worked in PICU and NICU departments in Japan (Tokyo and Nagano). Between 2011 and 2018, he practiced at Leyla Shikhlinskaya Clinic and MediClub. In 2018, he served as Medical Director at MediClub. From 2018 to 2026, he headed the neonatology department at Caspian International Hospital. He currently continues his practice as Chief Physician of the Children's Polyclinic and Senior Pediatrician at MediClub.
