Pediatric care


     Vaccination against rotavirus infection has begun. It exclusively conducted in MC Pediatrics. Vaccinating of applicants and students traveling to study abroad in accordance with the requirements of educational institutions. A vaccination of all who is going on holiday abroad, pilgrims (meningococcus, hepatitis A, B, yellow fever and other vaccines at the request of host countries). Supplementary vaccination for children who start visiting the preschool institutions and pregnancy planning women.


     Pediatric care includes urgent, emergency, ambulatory, clinic and polyclinic services of children. MediClub has strong skilled pediatricians in its staff and contract consultants within the country and abroad.


     Patient care for our pediatric clients starts from the time birth until 16 years of their age.


     Children are also divided in different age groups.


     Well baby check-up program is one of the most important aspects of pediatric care. Another important program is pediatric surgery and surgical treatment of some birth defects and traumas.


     Vaccination program of children and preventive medicine is also part of pediatric services.


     Overall role of Pediatric services is to ensure excellent standards of child care in efficient and effective manner. Vaccination plan is managed by clinic standards. Pre-vaccination baby check-up, vaccine assessment, post vaccination follow up procedures are vital part of immunization program.


     The other important part of pediatric services is urgent pediatric surgical/trauma care. Planned pediatric surgery is ENT surgery and surgical correction of birth defects.


     There is a new kind of vaccination - against Papilloma virus, is carrying out in MediClub pediatrics clinic since March 01, 2009. All women and girls at age from 12 years can accept the Cervarix vaccine, which helps to prevent such a terrible disease as carcinoma of uterine cervix.


     We are also planning to start vaccination against Rota viral infections, which, as it known, cause epidemic flashes of diseases at children of all age.


     There is also a new service - dubage is providing in a special room at pediatric clinic. This procedure helps both to treat and to prevent a wide spectrum of liver, bile-excreting disorders as good as some helminthes.
